Garmisch Military Post (Source: Post card from Photo Album, Unknown owner) The Casa Carioca next to the Olympic Ice Stadium in Garmisch served as a night club for US Forces. The club was built by US Army engineers after the war. It featured a movable dance floor which, when slid back, revealed a complete surface of ice on which the club's biggest attraction, the ice revues, was enacted.
