Husterhoeh Kaserne, Pirmasens, 1966-68 (Source: Richard Tracy) POMCUS section - The vehicles stored here "belonged" to a mechanized infantry battalion. On a day-to-day basis, it was cared for by an element (possibly the 5th Maint Bn) of the USAREUR Augmentation Readiness Group. HQ of the group was at Spinelli Barracks and it operated POMCUS sites located in Mannheim, Germersheim, Kaiserslautern, Karlsruhe and Pirmasens.
