A fairly early view of the VHF radio van, after it had acquired a more elaborate camouflage net system, but before the sandbagged paint locker was built. This was before our 80-foot UHF tower had cluttered up the landscape: no guy wires (yet)! Those little concrete stairs led to a short sidewalk, which ended abruptly after a couple of yards: it probably led to an earlier gate, before the perimeter fence was expanded; we called it "The Stairway To Nowhere," naturally!
