 A Cessna O-1A BIRD DOG ready for take off. This fixed-wing aircraft served as a two-seat observation and liaison aircraft. It replaced the L-5 in Europe. (Again, here too the original designation  was changed in 1962 -- from L-19A to O-1A.)
