The Line Shack, Coleman Barracks, 1965-66. The line shack on the flight line at Coleman Bks. was build for the purpose of storing crew chief's tools, forms and some parts that were needed close to the air craft. If I recall correctly the art work was done by a technical inspector named MacKenzie, a Spec 6 from Texas.  I think he had been in Germany about 9 years then and shared his knowledge with all us new guys.  The squadron commander was named Smith thus the Snuffy Smith character on the front wall. If you look close you can see a LTC cluster on his hat. The shack was also a shelter from the elements on some days.
