These photos were taken by a friend of mine around the 1978-1979 time frame - probably at Fasching - the German equivalent of Mardi Gras. This carnival area was set up directly in front (north side) of the IOR Club - Building 978.
 
The camera is pointing east, and you are looking at the interior corner/main entrance of Bldg 978.
 
This was taken inside Bldg 978. The band normally played in the corner of the building.
