Airfield; entrance to hangar with transmitter room.
The left side was the hanger area, on the right our rec room. The
old (airfield) tower was to the left.
That shot up building had a room full of radios taken from downed
B17's ... we rewired one of them
because they were driven by a 24V dynamotor. Best radio I ever had.
The person in the photo was Mr Harvey, civilian engineer.
