The responsibility for the administration of the USFA Quartermaster Depot, located at the Wels Air Base, has been transferred to the Quartermaster Section of Linz Military Post. The depot had previously been (since its inception in 1946) under the control of QM units under HQ USFA.

This change also permits further consolidation of the 138th QM Service Company, which was before widely spread.

The QM Depot is responsible for storing and issuing quartermaster-related supplies in the USFA area of responsibility.
