Barby, chocklates... but in the age of 8 she was adopted by the BakeryFamily named Wyrwich in Bad Kissingen. My mum tould me that they moved into the Wyrwich house cause they was waiting for some papers to go to the states. but something went wrong. Now maby someone was in that division at that time and remember the guy who had a baby with Hedi Zimmermann?

I was never in the US armed services. However, I lived near McGraw Kaserne in Munich from 1957 to 1960. It was a great experience, largely made possible by the US Army personnel who were stationed in Germany at that time....before.....and since.

My dad was in the Air force and was stationed at Munich. I remember going to Neubiberg air base.....I remember going to church at the Neubiberg chapel. What great memories of US Army personnel who impressed and influenced me with their character and spirit. Thank you. Ron

I was at DOG from about December 1964 to early out in December 1966. Construction on the new addition to the communications building was just underway when I left. Sure remember the good times at the "fliers house" guesthause owned by Deiter & Tilly in Gollheim. I sure miss the brotchen rolls the German cooks brought up in the mornings. Daaammnn, they were good. I found a close copy of them at a bakery in German Village in Columbus Ohio -- And yes, I do make a brotchen run from time to time for about 3 dozen

Christmas Eve 1969, Snowey In Aschaffengurg... My girlfirend said if I would go to the commissary and get her landlady a turkey, she would go shopping and pick up a variety of alcohol drinks for a party at her apartment. Another friend and her boyfriend were coming over for a small party. I met back up with Gisela before we got to her aprtment. We sat and talked with her landlady that afternoon and later on our friends came by and had more than a few drinks and partied and had a great time. A memorable Christmas that I will never for get.

From 1960 - 1962 I was stationed at Reinland Kaserne, Ettlingen, Germany - Headquarters Company, 39th Engineering Group. I am searching for a number of Army buddies that were there with me. Look forward to hearing from anyone that can help me locate some of these guys - especially the ones that played fast pitch softball and bowled. I did find my our Sargent Maj Bray G. Addison 5 years ago - he remember me.
Thanks,
Alan

I was stationed in Wiesbaden at Camp Pieri from Jan 1973 and moved around somewhat. I was one of the few MP's on the hill. I remember being awakened my first morning by machine noises and looking out my frosty window and seeing a missle being lifted in the air readying for launch. Beautiful area and what a view of Wiesbaden and the Rhein River. I remember leaving Wiesbaden and driving to Mainz MP Station to report for duty and driving all over Mainz area. Anyone remember going to Lindsay Air Station and eating in their Mess Hall, it was better than a reataurant. I miss all the beer and wine festivals, nothing here tops them. I spent 5 1/2 years in the area, met and married my wife and we had a daughter prior to leaving. Jan 1973 to June 1976.
