(This aerial recon photo from the mid-1950s is most likely a US installation west of the Rhine River and shows a track park with wheeled and tracked vehicles of an armor unit. The vehicles to the left of the track park do not belong to the armor unit. They belong to an interesting unit, recently arrived in Germany, one that packs a powerful punch and is one of just a few of its type in the European Theater at the time.)
