A Company's M-48A1s at Graf, c late spring 1959.

2d MTB 13th Cav, Graf, Fall 1958, M-48A1s - live fire tank platoon in the attack. On the rear deck, is one of THE dumbest ideas created by the Army - four non-armor protected 55 gal drums full of MOGAS. The thinking was such a device would extend the operational range of the M-48A1, to match that of the Soviet T-54. HA!!
