HQ European Command (EUCOM) (Source: Webmaster's collection) Headquarters European Command moved from its previous command post at the IG Farben Building to Grossdeutschland Kaserne in the first half of 1948. During this period, the kaserne was more commonly known as the Command Post Kaserne. (In August of 1948, the post would officially be redesignated as Campbell Barracks.)
